ifilm to air finale for ‘The Special Unit’

ifilm English channel has set to air final episode for the cop series ‘The Special Unit’ on Sunday night.

The series finale, produced by Saeed Sadi and directed by Mehdi Rahmani, will be aired on April 19, 2020, at 22 GMT.

‘The Special Unit’ tells the story of three police officers who make selfless efforts to accomplish their missions successfully.

Besides their professional relationship, the officers are close friends who help each other in their personal lives as well.

The series shows how they deal with different cases of robbery, kidnapping, murder and so on, with the help of an experienced commander and a headquarters-based tech-savvy colleague.

The cast list includes Shahed Ahmadlou, Mahmoud Pakniyyat, Hamid Goudarzi, the late Daryoush Asadzadeh, Azita Lachini, Pedram Sharifi, Amir Kazemi and Sogol Tahmasebi.

‘The Special Unit’, produced in 2016, will be replaced by the action series ‘The Wall’ made by Sirous Moqaddam.
